David is an exceptional hypnotherapist who creates a truly safe, non-judgmental, and comfortable space. His ability to listen and his deep empathy are immediately apparent. He clearly explained the process, which eliminated any nervousness I had about hypnotherapy. David’s calm guidance allowed me to access a level of relaxation that led directly to powerful emotional breakthroughs and clarity. After just a few sessions, I started seeing significant and sustainable positive shifts in my anxiety levels, self confidence and cravings for cocaine. I went and saw David for the first time for a free consultation, he was very welcoming and I felt at ease. I was excited to get started so booked in for 2 days later, he did evenings which I needed as have young kids. The session was amazing, I felt safe, I was positive about the change and excited to see the results. I have suffered with OCD for 5/6 years and the day after I was so much more relaxed, I didn’t do half my rituals like I would normally and I have left my house without checking anything at all since. (normally would take me 30mins - 1hour just to check). I’m now managing my OCD in very small ways rather than it controlling me and stopping me from living the life I wanted. I booked Hypnotherapy with David at Positive Need in Gillingham, Dorset on the back of a recommendation. Having struggled with generalised anxiety for a significant proportion of my life I was keen to try hypnosis as a method of managing and potentially overcoming the problem. I felt immediately comfortable in David’s presence, during the free initial consultation I was able to talk at length about so many aspects of my life. He is a fantastic listener. We scheduled 3 sessions of hypnosis to work on some different areas. I can certainly feel a difference in my body and in the way my brain seems to approach thoughts and challenges. I feel more optimistic, more confident and am now much kinder to myself. Although my anxiety hasn’t disappeared entirely, there was never an expectation that it would, I feel I am more equipped to continue to progress and improve. I no longer feel stuck. This a huge transition after so many years. I highly recommend David for hypnotherapy for low self esteem and anxiety.

Meeting David was like meeting an old friend. He sat down and listened to me,

David is a very calming professional man who makes you feel welcomed and relax instantly. David had been offering a free sound bath session so I took him up on his offer and boy he did not disappoint. Once settled into the reclining chair with my blanket David explained what he was going to do. I was extremely relaxed to the point I actually fell asleep, I saw colours too, one was a like an upside down purple waterfall and I also saw a flash of electric blue. I have had a group sound bath before so knew what to expect but being able to have that one to one was completely different as previously I was aware of others around me which stopped me relaxing completely. I would highly recommend seeing David.
