I booked Hypnotherapy with David at Positive Need in Gillingham, Dorset on the back of a recommendation. Having struggled with generalised anxiety for a significant proportion of my life I was keen to try hypnosis as a method of managing and potentially overcoming the problem. I felt immediately comfortable in David’s presence, during the free initial consultation I was able to talk at length about so many aspects of my life. He is a fantastic listener. We scheduled 3 sessions of hypnosis to work on some different areas. I can certainly feel a difference in my body and in the way my brain seems to approach thoughts and challenges. I feel more optimistic, more confident and am now much kinder to myself. Although my anxiety hasn’t disappeared entirely, there was never an expectation that it would, I feel I am more equipped to continue to progress and improve. I no longer feel stuck. This a huge transition after so many years. I highly recommend David for hypnotherapy for low self esteem and anxiety.
