A real mix

Lovely client who came in for a consultation that had some issues. The very time I met her, you could tell she was in distress, miserable and downtrodden in how she presented.

The consultation was interesting because this happens a lot, the client presents with an idea of why they are there, but by the end of the consultation, there is quite often other issues going on and some deep rooted from many years ago. So we agreed on a plan of action and a process of dealing with the issues individually in a particular order. Now, this order is really important as quite often when Hypnotherapy is used, one thing is determined by another and if you do it right, one issue has a knock on effect with the others, sometimes resolving an issue identified early on.

Positive Mental Attitude.

This is an attitude that i have and have been using since 2014. NLP has given me this thought process in everything I do and encounter. There's always a positive out of a negative.

In some way, its been a mantra for me since a life threatening event, it has become more and more of my "go to" attitude. Having experienced many things in life, it now serves me well.

Anxiety

Anxiety is a feeling of unease, such as worry or fear, that can be mild or severe. Everyone has feelings of anxiety at some point in their life. For example, you may feel worried and anxious about sitting an exam or having a medical test or job interview.

Symptoms
  • Feeling nervous, restless or tense.
  • Having a sense of impending danger, panic or doom.

  • Breathing rapidly (hyperventilation)

What is exam stress?


Lots of us know what it's like to feel stressed, but it's not easy to describe what stress is.

There's no single definition of stress, and it might feel different for you than it does for someone else. How we experience stress can feel different at different times. It can also depend on what's causing it.

Feeling stressed, worried, or under pressure around exams can be difficult to manage. But there are things that can help – it's about finding what's right for you.

Hypnotherapy

Hypnosis is a state of heightened suggestibility in which a person is more open to suggestion. It is often used in therapy to help people change their behavior or overcome negative thoughts and emotions.

Hypnotherapy is a type of mind-body medicine that uses hypnosis to help people address a whole variety of issues, including some common ones:

  • Anxiety and stress
  • Pain management
  • Weight loss

  • Habit control

Hypnotherapy Myths !!!

  1. Hypnosis is mind control: Hypnosis is not mind control. It is a state of focused attention and heightened suggestibility. The person being hypnotized is always in control and can choose to accept or reject suggestions.

  2. Hypnosis can make you do things against your will: Hypnosis cannot make you do anything against your will or moral code. You are always aware of your actions and can refuse to comply with any suggestion.

  3. Hypnosis is only effective on weak-minded individuals: Hypnosis can be effective on individuals with a wide range of personalities and cognitive abilities. It is not a sign of weakness or gullibility.

  4. Hypnosis is the same as sleep: Hypnosis is not sleep. Although it can induce a deeply relaxed state, you remain awake and aware throughout the process.

  5. Hypnosis is a magical or supernatural phenomenon: Hypnosis is a natural state of mind that has been studied and used for therapeutic purposes for centuries. It does not involve any supernatural or magical powers.

 

There are several differences between a hypnotist and a certified clinical hypnotherapist. A hypnotist utilizes short-term hypnosis for entertainment purposes and intentionally attempting to humiliate someone to obtain laughs. Hypnotist also may or may not have training in hypnosis; some hypnotists are self-proclaimed, have no training other than self-taught, and trial and error efforts.

 

A certified clinical hypnotherapist is the complete opposite.  A certified clinical hypnotherapist utilizes hypnosis for long-term changes towards personal change and development. Clinical Hypnotherapist have received training and engaged in yearly continued education to provide the best ecology possible for client’s personal development and desired outcomes.

Past Life Regression

Past life regression is a therapeutic or spiritual technique that aims to help individuals explore and potentially recall memories or experiences from what is believed to be their past lives.   1. Hypnosis or Deep Relaxation: I will guide you into a deep state of relaxation or hypnosis. This is intended to make you more receptive to accessing subconscious memories.

  2. Exploration: While in this relaxed state, you are encouraged to recall memories or images that surface. These memories are often described as coming from past lives and may involve specific events, locations, or individuals.

  3. Narration: You will verbally describe your experiences while under hypnosis. I will ask questions to help you explore and elaborate on the details of these past-life memories.

  4. Integration: After the regression session, you and I will discuss and interpret the memories and experiences that came up. This discussion can provide insight into current life challenges, relationships, and personal growth.

Be aware that you will be in control at all times, and as a Clinical Hypnotherapist, I am only interested in the well being of the client and not entertainment, so you will not be asked to do something you do not want to do. This is simply all about Relaxing and nothing more.
