I highly recommend David. He was extremely patient with me as relaxing was hard work for me but we got there and it felt amazing to relax. Highly recommend.

This was genuinely one of the best things I’ve ever done in my life. I’ve had therapy on and off for many years and while it’s been helpful, it never quite gave me what I needed. I can’t quite put into words how grateful I am to David for what he’s done for me. From the very first contact, through to the consultation and sessions, I felt completely safe, respected, and at ease. He made it clear that my comfort and experience were his top priority, and that allowed me to fully relax and trust the process. I’m genuinely astonished by how quickly hypnosis worked for me - the immediate and long-term impact it’s had on my life is nothing short of incredible. I’ll absolutely be rebooking in the future, whether for new challenges or simply for relaxation. If you’re considering hypnosis, stop considering it and just do it. You won’t regret it.

I went to see David for anxiety and a few other things, I had never done hypnotherapy before and didn’t know what to expect. David made me feel at ease and he was easy to talk to and explained how this work. I would highly recommend and have no problem returning for other treatments.

I came to David wanting to take action on a few areas that were getting the better of me more and more frequently in my day to day life… I didn’t know what to expect but David kindly walked me through the process and put me at ease. I embarked on the first session and suffice to say I booked in for a second session to continue on building the foundations. I didn’t know if I’d instantly feel different or how I would know if it had worked on me… but I can say that I feel the “noise” is far less since the sessions and when I recognise the feelings I can move them on far quicker than before. I booked Hypnotherapy with David at Positive Need in Gillingham, Dorset on the back of a recommendation. Having struggled with generalised anxiety for a significant proportion of my life I was keen to try hypnosis as a method of managing and potentially overcoming the problem. I felt immediately comfortable in David’s presence, during the free initial consultation I was able to talk at length about so many aspects of my life. He is a fantastic listener. We scheduled 3 sessions of hypnosis to work on some different areas. I can certainly feel a difference in my body and in the way my brain seems to approach thoughts and challenges. I feel more optimistic, more confident and am now much kinder to myself. Although my anxiety hasn’t disappeared entirely, there was never an expectation that it would, I feel I am more equipped to continue to progress and improve. I no longer feel stuck. This a huge transition after so many years. I highly recommend David for hypnotherapy for low self esteem and anxiety.

David was so lovely.. really explained the process in great detail, put me at ease very quickly and the results for my sport block has been quite transformative. Very happy and would highly recommend David.
